Create shipping labels online with shipper, consignee, and shipment information.

Click here to use the Shipping Labels feature.

The following information provides a step-by-step guide on how to use this feature as well as a list of common questions.

Step by Step Guide
  1. Enter the shipper information including the company name, address, city, state, zip, country and contact phone number for the shipper location. Note that for city information, the city and state OR the zip may be entered - verification assistance will be given if needed.
  2. Enter the consignee information including the company name, address, city, state, zip, country and contact phone number for the consignee location.
  3. In the "Commodity and Reference Information" section, you may enter the number of total handling pieces, the total weight for the entire shipment, and a bill of lading number.
  4. In the "Shipment Specifics" section, you may change the ship date (pickup date set to the current date) and enter the ABF pro number.
  5. Enter the number of labels that you want to create in the "Number of Labels" section. This number is the only required entry.
  6. Finally, select the file format of the labels in the "File Format of Shipping Labels" section. The PDF format will render a very clear label. This format requires a free application (Adobe Acrobat Reader) that is available for download on the return page after clicking "Create Labels". The RTF format will create the labels in a file that you can view in Microsoft word processors such as MS Word. Both file types may be downloaded and saved to your hard drive.

Shipping labels are created to fit Avery 5264 labels. Each label is 3 1/3 x 4'' in size.

Does the shipping labels require a special program or plugin to view and print?
This PDF format requires a free application (Adobe Acrobat Reader) that is available for download on the return page after clicking "Create Labels". The RTF format will create the labels in a file that you can view in Microsoft word processors such as MS Word. Both file types may be downloaded and saved to your hard drive.

What if I do not know the zip code or the exact name of a city?
In all sections of the ABF Web site that require a location entry, you may provide a zip code or the city/state combination. If you do not know the zip code or the exact spelling of the city, simply enter the first few letters of the city and select the state. After you submit the form, you will be given a list of city/state combinations to select from that match your entry.
